8,955 hectares were offered with an average price per hectare of $4,246.46.

Standard Land Company inc. Bid on parcel (65021) and paid the top bonus price of $11,477,618. The Kelly Lake Cree Nation has requested consultation. The Peace River Regional District requires engagement prior to undertaking exploration and development activities

O & G Resources Group paid $7,399.547 For a parcel (65022) in the same area and the regional district and Kelly Lake and Saulteaux Bands have requested engagement.

Scott Land & Lease Ltd bid $3,367,000 for parcel (65020) and parcel (65014) $2,230,630 respectively. These leases are in the Kelly Lake Cree Nation area and consultation may be requested by these nations.

The 10.70 hectare parcel is located in the Blueberry River First Nation’s consulting area. The 12.15 hectare Parcel is located within Horn River, Montney or Cordova Embayment boundaries in which shale gas recovery and technology is anticipated; participation in a water or access planning process with other tenure holders may be required to coordinate activities, exploration and development.

Sekani Resources paid $96,378.48 for a parcel of 792 hectares within Treaty 8. Consultation may be requested by a Treaty 8 First Nation.

Parcels 65007, 65008, 65009, 65010, 65011, were not sold.

Dene Tha’ First Nation has advised that they exercise treaty and aboriginal rights within these parcel and wish to be consulted on future decisions related to development applications.
