Tetsa River Break, Enter and Theft

Tetsa River Break, Enter and Theft, Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate the thieve(s) responsible for breaking into a residence and stealing a large quantity of personal property. On July 1 l th Northern Rockies RCMP received a report from a resident living at Mile 371 / KM 565 of the Alaska Highway advising police his residence had been broken into a large quantity of property had been stolen including a number of firearms: Firearms: 1. Winchester – Model 43 – 22 Hornet. 2. Cooey – Bolt Action Tube Mag – 22LR 3. 1917 Enfield (Pl 7) – 30-06 4. Mauser 98 – Full Wood Stock – 280 Remington 5. Mossberg – Model 500 – 12 Gauge. 6. Cooey – Full Stock Cadet Trainer – 22LR 7. Winchester – Semi auto (model unknown) – 22LR 8. Remington – semi automatic – 30-06. 9. Mauser FN (Fabrique Nationale) – action only. 10. 1903 Springfield – 30-06. 11. Savage – Model 340 bolt action – 30-30. 12. Winchester – Model 67 – 22LR 13. Schultz & Larsen – bolt action – 7X61 Sharpe & Hart. 14. Marlin – Model 39 (lever action) – 22LR 15. Savage – Bolt Action – 22LR. 16. Ruger – Model 77 – Stainless barrel & Wooden Stock – 338 Winchester Magnum. 17. Lee Enfield – 303 British. 18. Stevens – Brazilian break action single shot – 20 gauge. Ammunition.. 1. 416 Taylor 2. 338 Winchester Magnum 3.7mm Remington Magnum. 4. 308 Winchester. 5. 7X61 Sharpe & Hart. 6. 30-30 Winchester. 7. 270 Windchester. 8. 280 Remington. 9. 12 Gauge (Black Cloud) Shotgun shells. 10. 22 Hornet. 11. 357 Magnum. 12. 38 Special. 13. 44 Magnum. 14.45170 15.25-06. 16. 260 Remington. Other Items: 1. Two Backpacks, internal frames, one pack camouflage, one MEC pack sage green. 2. 10 assorted knives. 3. one knife with giraffe bone handle and laminated pink blade. 4. one head mounted Grizzly Bear Rug. 5. Tanned Black Bear Hide. 6. 4 Jerry cans of diesel fuel. During the course of this investigation police located a set of keys inside the residence that had apparently been left behind by the thieves responsible for this break, enter and theft. One key is quite unique and police are hoping someone will remember seeing this key someone’s possession.
