4th Annual Toad River Run

: The up-highway communities of Toad River and Muncho Lake were inundated with visitors this weekend. They were taking part in the Toad River Run and Skeet Shoot, and the Muncho Lake Fishing Derby. About 90 runners, walkers, and dogs tramped the route of the 4th annual event.

What a great day! The 4th Annual Toad River Run was a big success this year – 86 participants came to walk, run and shoot skeet. Although the participants woke up to a pretty soggy day, the sun came out long enough for everyone to finish the run and receive medals and prizes.
Thank you so much for the folks from Fort Nelson and Toad River who came out to enjoy the day. We sure do appreciate all your support!
A big thank you goes to Kellie Olsen who, along with her husband Leif, who host this event each year at Stone Mountain Safaris. Also to the Toad River School PAC who all put in a lot of work to make this event a success!
