NRSS Annual Pie Fundraiser a Success!

The Northern Rockies Seniors Society held its annual pie fundraiser last Saturday .It took about 5 hours for our volunteers to peel, knead, roll and fill 443 apple and cherry pies. We would like to thank Sandy and Doug Andrews of IGA for donating all of the ingredients. We would also like to thank the Scotiabank, they sold pies for our fundraiser, sent the Scotia Team to help put the pies together and Scotiabank also matched the money that was raised. To our many pie makers, you were awesome. We would also like to thank the Northern Lamplighters for the use of their facilities. Thank you to the community of Fort Nelson for sponsoring this campaign and buying pies. All proceeds will go to Heritage Place, our Supported Housing Project.

Total raised was over $8,240
