Terms of Reference: Agriculture Advisory Committee the Agricultural Advisory Committee
Terms of Reference were unanimously approved.
Regional Councillor Danny Soles indicated he would be interested in sitting as the NRRM Representative and Chair of the Agricultural Advisory Committee.
The Tax Exemption bylaw was unanimously approved.
Social Planning Committee for Establishment
Regional Council resolved to hold a Special Regional Council meeting with the Fort Nelson Social Planning Council to continue discussions on existing and future partnership agreements.
Delegation of 12 Foreign Trade and Investment Representatives
It was reported that on Thursday, October 25th, 2012, Fort Nelson would receive a delegation of 12 Foreign Trade and Investment Representatives who are working with the Ministry of Jobs, Innovation, and Tourism and who want to come to Fort Nelson as part of their overall trip to see Northern BC and better understand the shale gas, LNG, and other developments in our region.
A bus field tour of the gas play areas was organised from the airport.  Acting Mayor Soles participated and Councillor Eglinski indicated she would be interest in going on the tour as well.
