Obituary – Sue Morin, 65

May 20th, 1946 – March 6th, 2012

Helen Susan (Sue) Morin, long time of resident of Fort Nelson, passed away peacefully in her sleep with her children by her side at the Royal Alexandra Hospital on March 6, 2012 at the age of 65 years. Sue was born in High Prairie, Alberta on May 20, 1946. She moved to Fort Nelson in 1960 where her children (Adrio, Bani, Juanita and Chen) were born and raised Sue worked a variety of jobs….cooked in muskegs camp and forest fires, at Dixie Lee’s and worked at the Tackama mill for many years. In 2004, Sue moved to the Grande Prairie area to be closer to her children and grandchildren. It is here in 2005 where she met her current partner, Bob Agrey. Sue loved gardening, and always made time for her family and friends. Her and Bob had a full, busy and happy time together until she graduated to the next stage of her life. She will be dearly missed by: her partner Bob Agrey, sisters Anna (Lawrence), Joan(Dawson), Celia (Arie), brother Jerry (Dallyce), children Adrio, Bani (Lois), Juanita (Jim) and Chen (Tracy). grandchildren Justin, Josh (Karen), John. Desire’, Justine, Katelyn, TJ, Karleigh and Rebecca, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and close friends. Sue was predeceased by her parents, Hector and Dora (Madora) Myette, her brother Ernie Myette, her ex-husband Tennessee Morin, as well as her beloved cat DC. A celebration of life will be held at the Elks on March 17, 2012 from 1-3 pm. There will also be an additional celebration of life in Grande Prairie on March 24th at Olivers Funeral Home at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ICU at the Royal Alexandra Hospital where they ensured she was comfortable during her final days.
