Greyhound looks to reduce bus service in the Peace

Greyhound Canada says they are hoping to put the brakes on some of their routes throughout BC.
The bus company has applied to the BC passenger board to cut many of its Peace region trips by up to half. It’s part of an application to reduce service on 15 routes throughout the province.
These routes include from the Alberta border and Highway 2 to Dawson Creek, Dawson Creek to Fort Nelson via Fort St. John and Dawson Creek to Prince George.  The company says the cuts would save them almost $7 million a year.  Public comment on the proposed Greyhound changes are being accepted until October 17th.  Comments can be submitted by email to ptboard@gov.bc.ca, or by fax to (250) 953-3788.
