Obituary – Lilly Crawford, 75
March 8th, 1937 – May 23rd, 2012
Lilly Alvena Crawford (née Swanson) was born March 8th, 1937, in Valhalla, AB. She passed away on May 23rd, 2012, in Beaverlodge, AB, at the age of 75 years. Lil was born and raised in Valhalla, AB. She spent many years working along the Alaska Highway, which is where she met her husband Bill. They settled in Fort Nelson, BC, where they raised their three children. Lil will be remembered by all for her love of playing music and singing. She will be sadly missed by her husband Bill, daughters Charlene, Leanna, and Sherry, her three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, as well as her sisters Esther (Einarson), Ellen (Bredeson) and Ruth (Sharkey), and numerous nieces and nephews. Lil was predeceased by her father Carl, mother Elin, brothers Swen and Carl, and sister Anna.
